Daddy Johnnie Celebrates His 80th
How do you celebrate 80 years of your life? Together with my siblings and my cousins we planned a celebration that would probably be best described as homegrown, old-fashioned but full of warmth and love. We started the day by a Mass and capped the day by hanging out at my Auntie Miling's in San Fernando.Every single person was smiling so happy to reconnect after all these decades. It was great to see several of the next gen with their children in tow. I am a granduncle several times over and obviously, Dad is a great grandfather several times over. My first cousin, Ate Marilou and her husband traveled all the way from New Zealand to celebrate this joyous occasion. For us we were almost all there except for my sister-in-law and my niece who just arrived from Sydney a few days after the SF contingent left for Manila.
Hope you all enjoy the pictures which were mostly taken by my beloved son, Justin. Until we meet again. May God bless you and keep you in His wing always.
