D23 Legends Awards 2017
This gallery includes images at the staging area. After waiting for almost four hours, we finally settled in to see several Disney employees and talent get recognized as Disney Legends. Some of those recognized have passed away so their children accepted the award on their behalf. It was entertaining but the most articulate one was Julie Taymor an America director of theater, film, and dance. She spoke about how art influences life and artists both in front and behind the medium need to be more mindful of how their body of work effects change and behavior.
One of her famous works is Lion King.
