I was on a business trip to Krakow, Poland and took an extra day to experience Auschwitz in Oświęcim. A couple of weeks before I psyched myself up knowing that I would be emotionally spent before the day is over. Capturing the images in black and white while using shadows to accentuate dread and sadness helped me capture the inhumanity of Auschwitz. The world must never forget.

So how much did Auschwitz affect me? I was in tears while processing these images. After you view these images, pray for those who perished; pray for peace and for kindness towards one another that there may never be an Auschwitz again.
